Ruth Shane Memorial Scholarship


A $1000 scholarship is available to any Idaho graduating high school senior, who has been in 4-H at least 4 years and is currently enrolled.  Applicant must attend the University of Idaho and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.  Primary consideration will be given to applicants based on their Family and Consumer Sciences project achievement and leadership experience in 4-H and their community.

Ruth Shane was a Home Economics (FCS) graduate of the University of Idaho, worked as a Home Economics researcher for the University of Idaho, and served as Extension Home Economist in Latah and Gooding Counties.
